Following up on last year's successful American Association for Nude Recreation NudeU/Youth Ambassadors (AANR NUYA) event, which brought together over 20 young adults from as far away as Brazil, the 2008 program promises to be even more revolutionary. Youth Ambassadors 2008 will be held June 11-15 at Lake Como Family Nudist Resort and Cypress Cove Nudist Resort, and is open to nudists between 18 and 35 years of age. The focus of the program is to provide tangible value and impact to AANR and AANR-affiliated resorts by launching NudeRevolutionTV and the VitaNuda young nudist community portal.
NudeRevolutionTV will be a YouTube channel that maximizes our outreach efforts and educates the public about the positive aspects of nudism and the nudist community. The Youth Ambassador-produced videos will feature AANR-affiliated resorts, as well as other topics of interest to the nudist community. Many of the videos will be integrated into the VitaNuda portal, which will also include resources and a social network for young nudists to get and keep them "plugged in" with the nudist community.
NudeRevolutionTV videos, which offer real potential to reach hundreds of thousands of people, will not and don't intend to showcase nudity, since YouTube forbids overt nudity to be broadcast. Rather, we will come up with creative ways of conveying the nudist lifestyle without offending the non-nudists who watch the videos. Nude, but not exposed. Naked, but not flashing America.
To be part of the Nude Revolution, applicants should be between 18 and 35 years
old, have some experience with nudist community (preferably be able to provide
a referral by club or region) and have willingness to be "on-camera" or have
technical and editing skills. Accommodations for four nights will be provided at no cost, and qualified applicants may be eligibe to receive
reimbursement for travel costs up to $200. In addition, for those completing
training there may be additional opportunities for expense-paid trips to AANR
resorts for production of NudeRevolutionTV videos.
